
Marta González is a photographer and printmaker born in Valladolid, Spain. She received her Master’s degree in Drawing & Printmaking, Education, Research and Creativity from the Complutense University of Madrid. Before that, she studied Fine Arts at the University of Salamanca. After completing her degree, she sets up the printmaking studio El Taller aGrabado.
In London, Marta acquires professional experience in contemporary print editions so as Jealous Print Studio and Thumbprint Editions, in which she works as a Senior Printer.
Marta has recently graduated with a Higher National Certificate at the British Academy of Photography.
Her work has been exhibited in several art spaces highlighting Mirages, a solo show at El Carrusel Taller de Fotografía, promoted by CREAVA20 (CreART Network (ES), and the group show Exhaustion and Exuberance, at Deptford, Does Art 2019 (UK)
She received an Honourable Mention at the VII Aguafuerte International Biennial 2020 (ES) and was shortlisted in competitions such as Círculo de Bellas Artes 2007 (ES)
Her work is part of collections such as the National Library of Spain (BNE) and Excmo. Cabildo Insular de la Palma (Brita Prinz ARTE) (ES).
